Newly Traded Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc. (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) Looks Like the Future of a Rapidly Growing Plant-Based Food Industry!

Dear Investors,

Many scientists today have begun referring to climate change as a climate emergency.

As country after country pledges to reduce emissions consumers are forced to question their own decisions and figure out ways to help.

More consumers are learning that by eating less meat, it can be their way of reducing their carbon footprint and helping the environment. As an example, producing a pound of animal protein uses approximately 100 times the amount of water it takes to produce a pound of grain protein. Producing a gallon of milk requires 1,000 gallons of water!

Our climate is in danger but thankfully more people are opting to choose a plant-based diet, which is said to play a huge role in limiting the effects from climate change.

Being vegan or vegetarian was once considered a “fad diet” but has now grown into a lifestyle. Consumers from all over the world are changing the way they eat and drink. More people are making the decision to eliminate or cut down on meat/ dairy products and choosing to eat a more plant-based diet.

There is a higher demand for plant-based foods and the market is listening!

Nearly one fourth of American consumers (23 percent) have consumed plant-based meat products, according to a new report published by market research firm Packaged Facts.

Health Focus International has also reported that a staggering 17% of U.S. consumers ages 15 to 70 now eat a predominantly plant-based diet, also referred to as “flexitarians”.

According to the Good Food Institute, the plant-based food market could see a CAGR of 27% over the next 5 years. They also claim that 57% of North American households have purchased plant-based foods, and 78% of households repeat order.

According to Our World in Data, the average footprint of beef, excluding methane, is about 36 kilograms of CO2eq per kilogram.

This is between approximately 10 to 100 times the footprint of most plant-based foods!

It’s no surprise that the plant-based revolution is in full gear and Beyond Meat™ went from around $20 to over $200!

Data like this also puts Canadian small-cap company Boosh (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) in a position to potentially thrive and makes this one of the most exciting ground-floor situations to keep an eye on!

Next to helping the planet, nutrition and health are also reasons why UBS projects the plant-based foods sector to skyrocket from $5 billion to $85 billion in less than 10 years, or why Bloomberg News has said that plant-based meat could make up a quarter of the $1.8 trillion meat market by 2040!

The plant-based food market may be a little congested, so how can Boosh (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) stand out against its competitors?

Boosh (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) is a unique, well positioned brand and is sold in over 400 grocery stores throughout Canada. Whole Foods has also started to carry Boosh in their 14 Canadian stores!

“It’s comfort food you feel good about.”

This company prides itself on creating deliciously tasting meals that offer all the health benefits of a well nutritionally balanced plant-based meal. No need to spend hours in the kitchen, these meals are fast and convenient.

“To stay true to our healthy mantra, the first three ingredients are nutritional yeast, pea protein and tapioca compared to many of our competitors in which their first three ingredients are sugar, oil and salt. With Boosh, you feel like you are eating something to curb that “fast food” craving yet it’s actually very healthy and leaves you feeling energetic and satisfied.”

Boosh Completes Studio Kitchen; Begins Filming Episodes

In January 2021, the company leased an 8,500 sq ft multi-purpose facility in greater Vancouver. The Company has been building out various aspects of the facility which include corporate offices, dry storage, freezer and refrigerated areas, and its studio which includes its filming kitchen and formal interview areas.

The studio will have interviews and guest appearances from local chefs, vegan athletes, and other trailblazers in the plant-based world. The completed videos and interviews will allow us to grow our online following and share our knowledge of adopting a plant-based lifestyle with individuals that may wish to learn more about alternative, plant-based eating styles.

Regular programming will include Cooking with Boosh. This extended series will show how to use our products to create other healthy, nutritionally based meals.

In addition, Boosh will be presenting “Veggie Hacks” which will be 15 to 30 second spots with unique, quality oriented, delicious plant-based recipes. Boosh will also utilize the studio for educational purposes about living a plant-based life and is currently scheduling interviews with successful vegan athletes, industry experts and other plant-based food producers. What a way to gain notoriety and gain heat on its competitors!

National and Global Expansion

Canada is not the only market creating a dent in the plant-based industry. The company has seen outstanding growth in distribution retailers as 225 out of the 400 plus retailers were added since the beginning of 2021. This is largely due to their partnership with BrandSeed Marketing Inc, as their Canadian broker. It doesn’t stop there. With plans to expand to the United States, Boosh (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) has retained the services of the award-winning, nationally recognized, premier food broker, Thrive Natural Sales (Thrive) as their United States representative. This allows Boosh the opportunity to reach an additional 40,000 grocery stores.

Commences Expansion into The United States

Boosh has retained the services of an award winning, nationally recognized premier food broker, Thrive Natural Sales (“Thrive”) as its US representative. In addition to providing food brokerage services, Thrive also provides an outsourced solution to national sales and supply chain management.

“Our Canadian food broker, Brandseed Marketing Inc., has done an outstanding job in Canada. In fact, approximately 225 of the 375 stores came online within the past six months, so our momentum is definitely building. Consequently, we believe our foundation is strong enough for us to begin exporting into the US, and then either buy or build our own manufacturing facility. Brandseed has a long-standing relationship with Thrive Natural Sales so we believe the synergy will help expedite our growth in the US, and the opportunity to introduce Boosh to as many of the 40,000 US grocery stores as possible,” said Connie Marples, founder and president of Boosh Food.

Home Delivery Through ShopVejii.com in Canada and the U.S.

Boosh has signed an agreement with Vejii Holdings Ltd. (ShopVejii.com) to commence home delivery services throughout Canada and the US in September 2021. Vejii will fulfill Boosh’s e-commerce and third-party orders through their strategically located fulfillment centers throughout North America.

“We’re extremely pleased to begin offering home delivery of Boosh products in Canada and the US through ShopVejii.com, and to expand our reach and customer base throughout North America. We believe home delivery is going to perfectly complement our recently hired US food broker, Thrive, in our quest to create an expansive footprint throughout America.”

Further Growth Through Acquisitions

In February 2021, this leading-edge plant-based company acquired plant-based shelf stable vegan cheese assets from a Canadian limited partnership called Vegan Canteen.

Under this Agreement, Boosh acquired specific recipes and formulas to develop a shelf stable ‘Vegan Cheez’ sauce. They are doing what their competitors aren’t.

The Vegan Canteen division has also developed a vegan, gluten-free pepperoni! This plant-based pepperoni has stood against the test. Many meat eaters believed that this was the real deal.

Why is this acquisition beneficial?

The founder of Vegan Canteen brings to the Boosh (CSE:VEGI) (OTCQB:VGGIF) team a unique and exciting set of cooking skills which complement founder Connie, in exploring a variety of plant-based meat substitutes.

On announcement that it has completed its acquisition of Pulse Kitchen Specialty Foods Ltd.

Pulse Kitchen produces high quality 100% plant-based, gluten free cheese, made from nuts, seeds, pulses and other fine ingredients. Cheese flavors include Sharp Cashew Cheddar, Almond Chevre, Dill Havarti, Almond Swiss, Vegan Pepper Jack, Cashew Kind of Blue and Smoky Cashew Cheddar as well as a Feta style cheese ready to bring to market. Products are sold in approximately 250 grocery stores in Canada including Whole Foods, Healthy Planet, Nature’s Fare, IGA, Fresh St Market, Choices, Urban Fare, and Nesters. The production facility is located in Penticton BC and was established in 2016.

“We’re methodically executing on our business plan which includes four separate revenue streams,” states Jim Pakulis CEO of Boosh Food. “Organic growth through opening of new retail stores as well as servicing our existing 400 plus retailers through re-orders, E-commerce through companies like ShopVejii.com in both Canada and the US, selling to US retail stores through our US natural food broker, and successful acquisitions. Pulse Kitchen is our third acquisition since February, and we believe it will be synergistic to our brands in our expanding portfolio. As previously mentioned, we continue to be in discussions with other plant-based acquisition candidates who are looking for access to capital and a corporate infrastructure designed for growth.”

As Jim Pakulis, CEO of Boosh states – Boosh plans to continue evaluating select privately held companies as candidates for potential acquisitions!
